Day at the Ball Park

So today we had a lovely day at the Ball Park thanks to Microsoft and our wonderful teammates who came up with the idea. It was an excellent day filled with food, free drinks and a great time with great people.

And then the fun started. It involved 2 different groups. One was the all out GSG group who appeared to have a committee meeting in session. It involved a lot of Windows conversation and talks about exams and formatting, and a lot of other geeky stuff. The other group involved a lot of discussions about what not to do and how we challenge that everyday.

Started of with my attempt to explain the bandaid on my face, close to my eye. I cut myself earlier on when I was twirling a pair of scissors around and got myself on the face. I know it was stupid and very close to my eye, but I learned not to do it again.

So I learn by trying it once and finding out it doesn't work and then make sure I don't do it again. For example, a few weeks ago, I was cleaning my cutting knife with my thumb and sort of sliced it, and was bleeding, and laughing. I thought it was pretty funny, and that it stung so much that I should be careful from now on.

I have done a lot of stupid stuff, and ask me to find out all about it, because I feel a lot more sane if I explain why I did it along with what I did. But otherwise most of it has been in fun and the experience to try something new and to learn exactly why my parents told me not to do it. Alright I might as well tell you one more.

So again a few weeks ago, I was ironing my shirt and then I put it on and it had a few wrinkles left, so i decided to iron the shirt again. So I was wearing the shirt and ironing and it was pretty hot, but it was not a problem, really quick and such (I have done this before, and kids please get help from an adult before attempting this :P) So anyways a few of the wrinkles weren't coming out and I was pressing harder and then I pushed the steam button. Didn't realize how hot it was and it was pretty bad. Now I just got a bad bruise still, but anyways I learned now (well everyone told me this before, but I guess I didn't listen) not to play with steam and heat and stay away from the iron.

Anyways, I found out in the end that people thought I need a supervisor / babysitter for myself (which some people called a girlfriend), so that they can stop me from doing this stupid stuff. Others thought that I am a risk and the insurance company should hear about this. I just got to say, that it has been very interesting and the result is I have never had anything really too bad happen.

Otherwise it was a good time, and I was just my old Fired Up self watching the game. It was great and a lot of fun and the cheering was awesome. Too bad I started of cheering for the wrong team (I wasn't sure which color jersey I was there to support). Once I got that part figured out and what R H E was in baseball I was good to go.
