So I wanted to share a new technology that is currently being worked on by Microsoft Live Labs. It is called Photosynth. Photosynth allows images that have a common theme to be linked together, so that you can have a better viewing experience.

If you watch the video you can see it talks about how pictures can be linked together so that you can fly through and see an area a lot better from many different angles. Here a few examples below so you can see how it works (you may have to install a plugin, but it is really cool).

So when we were at MGX, one night we had a party out at Pleasure Island in Orlando, FL. As we were entering the party, there were a whole lot of screaming people outside with banners saying, we were stars, and that they love us, and they were all shouting for us. It was crazy, and as I was walking there I thought it was a mistake and that we were going into the wrong place. Eventually found out it was  correct. So here is some pictures of me walking down the red carpet, and people were shouting and screaming, and I even got a chance to autograph somebody's book. Lets just say it was cheesy, but freaking awesome. They may have been paid (okay probably paid) but still it was cool because of all the stuff that was going on and all the screaming fans out there. Made me feel like a Rockstar!

So Halo 3, has surpassed the 1 Million Mark for pre-orders (yahhh). That is just awesome. What is even more amazing that it has to contend with what Halo 2 set as the bar, having sold 1.5 Million copies on its opening day and bringing in US $125 Million.

What is also cool is the fact that they have started to tie up with a number of companies to advertise the launch. Burger King has custom packaging on some of its cups and french fries holders, Mountain Dew is releasing a soda, which will be the first ever to be co-branded with a video game. Pontiac is releasing also a limited edition Halo 3 G6 GXP Street Car that one person can win.

This is going to be some milestone and going to be one great release party. Cannot wait.

300, what a movie. For those who haven't seen it, you should. It is more of a guy movie (I will give you that one), however it is amazing because it is based of an actual event in history, with a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae.

Now what makes this interesting because King Leonidas is portrayed as the greatest general / king to have ever lived (at least in my eyes). What is more interesting is that what these Spartans endured to make them the greatest warriors the world has ever seen (stole that one right out of the movie).

One of the things that amazed me was how people were writing articles about how this movie can teach you business management. It is sort of silly, but it talks about how your CEO needs to be a strong leader and gives examples of how King Leondias was and thus would have made an excellent CEO. Then I remember reading another article about how this movie represents running a successful online business and had mentioned that there are a few important things to always remember:

• Choose a battleground which gives matches your strengths
• Having a few well trained and loyal people are worth much more than having thousands of people who aren't.
• Never Retreat, Never Surrender - This is by far my favorite quote, because it is true. Sometimes things get tough, but if you retreat and give up on something (whatever it may be) you never will know if a little bit more work could have saved you you or at least gotten rid of the tough times.

These were just a few of the things that I read, but I thought it was pretty interesting. This is definitely one awesome movie and worth watching again and again.
